NFL Athlete Brand Partnership Campaign

Built a culturally aligned campaign concept for NFL rookie Ian Wheeler with a Black-owned ice cream shop in DC, featuring a signature milkshake and in-store activation.

For NFL player Ian Wheeler, I developed a grassroots brand partnership with Here’s The Scoop, a Black-owned ice cream shop in Washington, DC. The campaign, designed as Wheeler’s first brand collaboration, reflected his personal values of community, culture, and authenticity.


The centerpiece of the activation was “The Ian Wheeler Special” — a signature milkshake available in-store. To amplify impact, I designed a supporting campaign that included social content, in-store branding, and student-focused activations. Planned touchpoints included a Howard University Student Day, a hashtag contest, and a potential meet & greet during Ian’s bye week.

Though currently on hold due to team changes, the campaign demonstrates my ability to connect athlete brands with local businesses in ways that resonate culturally and commercially.
